Electricity is a gift of science to all human being. We live in the age of science where we can’t consider our life without electricity. Electricity is a source of energy which is produced by many different ways that is mainly divided into fossil fuel and non-fossil fuel. Fossil fuel includes gasoline, petroleum products and coal, non-fossil fuel includes solar energy, wind energy, tidal energy etc. but in some parts of the world like Africa where people lives without electricity they burn woods to get heat, light and protect themselves from wild animal.
The people living in such areas where they can’t get much sunlight due to thick forests, mountain valleys, snow-capped mountains and high pressure of wind are not able to use renewable energy resources like solar and wind energy and heavily dependent on electricity even for their small needs such as lighting a torch, mobile charging etc.
The basic idea is to develop a universal voltaic cell which would be able to generate sufficient amount of electricity with any electrolytic solution like coke, lemon juice, and urine, leaves juice, orange juice, etc. that could charge a small battery, a torch or a mobile phone for some time in any case of emergency. It will not only be useful for inhabitants of such areas but will also be beneficial for travelers, mountaineers, campers, etc. More precisely anyone belonging to any aspect of life could use it very easily as a low cost rechargeable power bank that would not require any electricity source for its own charging.
The device will be portable, compact and small in size, it will consist of series of different electrodes that will carry out oxidation of different low pH solutions and will produce electricity.
